It seems that gone are the days of blaming each other for stirring trouble. And with only a week left to go before the referendum, this is impeccable timing.

Now some may argue that this rhetoric is some devious propaganda strategy to set a baseline image of themselves as being the 'good guy', but I like to be naive and take it as good grace and a promising sign of peace. I guess both sides have come to terms with the strategic importance and benefits of cooperation.

As much fun and pleasure as I would get from ragging on the Cloon, I can't seem to disagree with him (aside from the excessive use of 'We'). Plus, according to the article he got spat on by an old woman and was told it was a blessing......pffft, grandma is totally laughing right now.

Oh and to all you alarmists who thinks that no one outside of your little Western liberal bubble*** are able to resolve their conflicts through peaceful negotiation:

The future of Homosexuals in South Sudan

That was Salva Kiir on a radio interview with 'Radio Netherlands Worldwide'. The page doesn't provide the full transcript of the interview, which only leaves me to wonder as to how the interview reached the topic of homosexuality. Maybe they were discussing their favourite youtube video and 'Eat da poo poo' was mentioned.

So much for a country being born out of the promise of an end to the persecution and discrimination of minorities.

Good thing Roving Bandit got out before they started lynching him.
